Hey, i'm half way through my first season as Arsenal, and have got Clichy and Traore obviously, but also, while scouting found Marcelo, who was unsettled with a minimum fee release clause of c.6mil. So, I bought him too, now i'm just about to go into the january transfer window and don't know what to do. Should I let Traore/Clichy go? - how good does Traore get? - Or should I rain up Marcelo as a left midfielder and get rid of an attacking midfielder (btw, I bought Modric at start of the season but really only buy, other than youngsters and no sales other than Gilberto.)

Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

I'm in same position, I sol Clichy so I could raise money for Aguero, who hasn't been that good. Marcelo got injured and now he can't get back in Traore is playing that well. So sell Clichy as he will raise more money as well.

See I really don't need the money, i've hardly spent anything, I think I got Modric for around 5mil and sold gilberto for 8mil+clauses, along with a transer budget of 32mil my finance is fine. It's just frustrating having too many good players in one squad!

Keep Traore/Clichy as your left backs and move Marcelo up to left wing.

Well then I would say Traoreat the start is the worst player out of the three so if you are looking to sell on, sell him, but if you want more money then sell Clichy.

Put Marcelo in midfield, he is useless in defence, then sell Rosicky for around 16M+, then rotate Marcelo and Modric. Keep Clichy and Traore.

Thanks both good idea's, I think I sell Rosicky for twice that though, AC and Barca seem to love him...

How good does Traore become in the end?

You can sell Rosicky for £25m plus!

In 2010-2011 Traore is the best fullback in my game with Barca. I bought him for insane amount of money, but his been playing great for me. He's keeping Lahm out of my starting line-up.

Whatever you do, don't sell him!!! If I was you I would start Clichy for now, but give Traore some starts as well. Gradually he will turn into a monster and takeover the leftback position. As for Marcelo, put him in midfield on the left side.

Sell Modric. He's nothing spectacular. Although he's a good player, he cant touch Rosicky. Rotate Rosicky and Marcelo as AML's. Traore and Clichy are both brilliant. There's a derth of good LB's in the game. The ones that are good are too expensive. So keep both and keep Rosicky on the left wing. Rosicky can play right wing and central midfield in case Fabregas gets injured or something. Brilliant player.
