Im sure this has been talked about many times but it is just p***ing me off so much.

Im playin FM now, and this is the 4th game in a row where the opposition has has the first attack--first shot on target--and first goal!

Its annoying because I know its going to happen every match, its so frequent, its ruining my game.

Any advice? Is this a known bug?

Its no bug. Just means that your players are not concentrating right from the start. If its so much of a problem, set your FB's and CB's to complete defence for the first 10-15 mins and also put a DM in the side to full defence. You can revert them to their attacking settings (if you use them) after that once they've settled into the game. Also, try to give them a strong pre-match team talk (I expect a win). Maybe put all your 4 defenders to man-mark the other teams strikers and wingers for the first 10-15mins as well. Also, maybe your GK's concentration level is low and thats why he's letting the goals in?

Get a better defence and keeper. Corse it's not a bug, them scoring first and having the first attack. Jeez

yeh thanks, ill try the things uve mentioned. Im managing Man Utd, perhaps I could use hargreaves as a DM. It just seems to be the first attack, and then I dominate the whole match after that!

No problem mate. You dont have to use Hargreaves if he doesnt figure in the way you like to play. Say for eg, you like to play Carrick more, then you easily set Carrick on full defence like I mentioned for a little while as he's decent at tackling and marking. And also, if you're facing a quick attack then have them sit deep for a while. If its a slow one, then have them push up. Just fiddle around with your defence a little bit and you'll find the right setting soon enough. :thup:
