I'm having trouble picking a 1st 11 with the following players. I play a 4-4-2 formation, with one CM running to AM, and wingers running all the way up the line.

GK: Ustari
DR: Alves
DL: Chiellini
DC: Barzagli
DC: Toure
MR: Messi
ML: Silva
MC: Fabregas
MC: Kaka
ST: Rooney
ST: D.Villa

That's the formation and 1st 11 I use.
The players left out are:
GK: Ustari
D: M.Richards, Criscito, Zapata, Traore
M: Sunny, Banea, Wijnaldum, Ronaldo, Ribery, Montolivo, Giovinco
S: Aguero, Billy Sharp

If you had these players - what formation would you use and who would you play?

That's pretty much an All-Star Team, formation shouldn't matter. But, I'd recommend a 4-3-3 like this:

GK: Ustari
DR: Alves (defensive to normal mentality, FR often)
DL: Chiellini (same as above)
DC: Barzagli
DC: Zapata (use Toure if up against an extremely pacey striker)
MC(barrow to DM): Sunny( Set to DM and put FR on rarely - Buy yourself a better MC/DM, like Veloso)
MC(barrow to MC): Fabregas( Set to MC , a littel more attacking mayve)
AML(arrow into the box) : Silva (free role)
AMC:Kaka (free role)
AMR(arrow into the box) : Messi (free role)
FC: Silva (striker, lots of FR)

Either your Chelsea in about the 6th season. or you cheat.

If you cant find the right tactics for them players there isn't much hope lol

Actually it is possible to get that team depending on what season's he's in. If he's in second or third, I bet your right, but if he's in his sixth season or something, it's surely possible

Thanks for the reply - Wouldn't it be a bit risky to give 3 people a free role? And Sunny is absolute quality, his overall stats is a perfect septagon, very close to the max.

Btw, I've started my 6th season with Barca for those that think I cheated. If anyone can tell me how to post a screenshot, I'll try get one here (don't know if it'll be stopped because I'm at university).

Also - should I sell all the ones that are aged 30+? And buy younger replacements? I just can't manage to sell D.Villa, Kaka and Toure though they're quality.

Don't sell Villa or Kaka until they are past their prime. They might have a few more seasons left in them yet.

Villa is 30 in my game now and he's still worth over £23 mill... I think you would definitely have to cheat to get some of those players.
Especially Alves.
