Currently playing my 1st LLM game and i'm a bit unsure about the rules as regards to scouting. Is it acceptable to send your scout to watch a player you play against? or if you see a player top of the scoring charts in a lower league etc?
Read the rules etc but i'm not too clear so any help would be appreciated, cheers!
Ok, Cheers for the help, probably won't help, every player my scout has recommended so har has turned out to be a donkey, it's nice to know i've got a wider choice of inept farm animals to choose from now!
Still struggling to understand why nobody has applied for the available scout position at Thurrock so it looks like i'm stuck with my current numpty.
No probs. Scouting fits in with realism. Do you think it's realistic to scout a guy from a lower league who's doing well? Too right I do, you wouldn't be doing your job as a manager if you didn't
Indeed, i suppose it's no different to a current manager picking up his sunday newspaper and looking at the top scorers list but i felt it was best to check with those ITK before i went ahead, wouldn't want to taint my 1st attempt at playing the LLM way.
Oh, and Lukewarm, who would confuse you with the Watford supporting manager of Thurrock?
Similar question, is it okay to shortlist someone who played against you in friendly?
eg Irish club plays Scottish club in friendly, young Scottish player rattles 3 past you along with a few 20 yard mazy runs, an assist and MOM.
Can you bang him on the shortlist as your dumbass chairman won't even fork out the 70 odd Euros to watch the games on Sky and Setanta to check him out, never mind send scouts over?
