... I'm new here and I wanted to tell you all about how badly I SUCK at this new version of the game. I first started with CM2 back in the day, taking Wigan or Nuneaton to the top on a shoostring budget and a tactical system drawn up with a kiddies' join-the-dots puzzle book.

Anyway, turns out that for some reason I absolutely can't do FM07. I've been at Harrogate in Conference North for two seasons now and I'm certain the team is worse than when I started.

I don't want your sympathy, I just wanted to tell someone that all my spare evenings for the last week or so have been for nothing. Hopefully someone will offer me a job as a scout for some sort of Hawaiian sports team and I can leave Yorkshire behind for good!

You'll have to be spectacularly bad to be worse than some people here, so don't jack it all in just yet.

Thanks mate. It's the ability to consistently throw away a two or three goal lead that amazes me. I know they're part-timers, but I didn't think that meant that they only play part of each game ... ?!

Three goal lead? Easy. All I do is send out my team of useless plumbers and brickies out to defend our goal at all costs ... and they take that as advice to go and batter the opposition. Then all you have to do is ask them to keep it up after half time, and they take that as permission to start taking calls for new work mid-match, maybe go over the quotes for a new heating system with a customer, that kinda thing.

Except in real life Harrogate's pretty posh so I guess they're all earning enough in their day jobs that they don't need my stinkin football team.

Its so annoying the way this game always seem to give me leads and take them away painfully.And earlier.I was 2-0 with 30 mins...they scored i thought ok thats is thatll be their only one.45th minute...Penalty to them...So they come out after half time and we get a goal only for it to be flagged offside.FRom the free kick they lob it upfield and score to give them a 3-2 win...This game is retarded...and annoying...but i still go back i it...:/
