Actually we need a ruling there, if a name which begins in lower case begins a sentence, should it be capitalised?

Strictly speaking it's a username as opposed to a proper noun, so I'd say yes...though someone more intelligent than me (like the late, lamented EssexMan...LLM Academic) should make the definitive ruling.
