When I took them over they were 10th in Conference National with about 7 games left. I just finished the season with them and putting the update in now. Unfortunately, no playoffs, but see a lot of promise =].

Maybe it was a bit much to expect promotion/play-offs so soon.

Rep Power: 0 | Tranmere 11/12 English Conference National
I started off with Tranmere in later March 2012, after a one year and a half layoff from football managing. Despite leaving Skelleftea, I tried waiting around for a Swedish job, which never came. After much waiting I decided to sign up with Tamworth who were in 22nd in Conference South in Feburary 2012. The problem is in my excitement of getting a new job I failed to realize they were 28 pts from safety and they were relegated by the beginning of March. I immediately resigned and along came Tranmere Rovers who had just sacked their man after leading a promotion team to a sad midtable position. I immediately went on a 7 game winning streak and did very well taking them up to 8th. I am looking foward to next year, as I think this team has a lot of potential, a lot of young promising players in the midfield and upfront. The backline looks really shaky, but with a few transfers that problem should be fixed up in a jiffy.
FA Cup: Round 1 loss to Chesterfield 2 - 0
FA Trophy: Round 2 loss to Margate 3 - 0
Media Prediction: 1st
My Prediction: N/A too little time to make that opinion
Supporters: Promotion (reason other dude got sacked)
Finished: 8th P46 W18 D13 L15 GD+13 Pts67
Highlight: 7 game winning streak in last 10 games
Star man: R. of Congo 7.24 rating and 10 assists
Top scorer: R. of Congo - 20 goals
Finally, just for a very brief Skelleftea update. They finally got promoted to Swedish First Division Elite (currently find themselves in 7th) this season after finishing 1st in the Swedish First Division North. I am very happy for them as I saw most of the youth products I had brought in over the years were the one's who made the impact this year. Anyway despite that my team is Tranmere now and I look foward to leading them to glory.
Cheers

Just to answer your question bigsie, I didn't expect promotion/playoffs so soon, but I did come close in such a short time, which definetly makes me feel good for next season.
Cheers

So I was just wondering if River Plate are considered LLM material?
Haha no seriously, I am sorry for a lack of update, but school has been hectic, anyway just for a quick summer update, tranmere rovers are being taken over by a consortium, so who knows if I'll have a job after it seeing that I just got the job. Anyway I am hoping for the best, if I get sacked maybe a return to Sweden is in store.
Cheers
