Ah well, these things happen.

You got a RTB warranty on your laptop? I know never to rely on that. Onsite warranty is the way to go - even if it means getting a slightly worse laptop.

That's me thinking as a warranty engineer. Not that I do that any more

So I guess sometimes it is nice having someone you know on the IT department. I managed to get a new Dell labtop free of charge from the school and the best part is I got all my data transferred from my old computer .

Skelleftea Season 08/09
The team looked very promising with the inclusion of 6 new players. The most promising was an 18 year old goalkeeper, who had amazing stats for the 3rd division of Sweden. However, my worry was that with the addition of so many new starters it would cause havoc amoungst my team. The season started off very poorly, losing/tieing the first 7 games. After that things started to pick up, midway through the season I found myself in 4th place just trailing 1st by 6 points. However, just when it looked like I might make the playoffs, both my star striker Viking and the new exciting youngster African Wonder got injured. Everything started going downhill from there, anyway all in all I ended up in 8th and that is 2 ahead of last season, hopefully with this team I will be able to get promoted next season.

Swedish Cup: 1st Round Loss to Valsta Syrianska (4-1)
Media Prediction: 10th
My Prediction: 6th
Finished: 8th
Supporters: Battle Relegation

Highlight: 4 - 0 win over IFK Malmo (got promoted)
Star Man: Viking 7.29 rating 17 assists
Top Scorer: Hog 8 / African Wonder 8 (both new transfers)

On a side note after Euro 2008, Romania offered to make me their new National Team coach, of course I declined since I highly doubt that a 3rd division Swedish club coach would have the prestigue or the experience to coach the Romanian National Team. Also, my contract got extended until Nov 2010 with Skelleftea. Hopefully promotion next year!!!

Cheers James

I may be missing something here (I know, it wouldn't be the first time) but this is really starting to bug me ... what in the name of Frank is a labtop?

Well a google brings up 473,000 hits, so they exist or dyslexia is endemic (or should that be pandemic)

Hahaha yeah sorry I meant laptop/notebook. Whatever you would like to call it, I guess a lot of people spell it wrong =]. Anyway question do you know if you update to 7.0.2 patch if you will need to scrap the save on the 7.0.1 build something. Since I know in the past their have been compatibility issues between patches. I was just wondering because I really like Skelleftea and don't want to have to scrap the save just to update to 7.0.2. Thanks!

Cheers
James

It's save game compatible for any tweaks James, you only need to restart for the transfer updates. If heard some tweaks will only take effect during a close season, but no idea which ones or how true it is.

For "If" read "I've".
