4 of my Brazilian side had the same (single) name, nicknames were a must.

What my fellow Bantam said. Judging by the Jocks that played for us during JJ's time at the club, most of whom had played for him before, scouting your own players is an absolute no no.
Anyway, however realistic/unrealistic it might be for the manager of some Wesh club to drive himself to Scotland to check out some duffer from Dumbarton, how likely is it that said duffer is going to sign up to play for a Welsh side??

Then again, how likely was it that an Argentinian long haired World Cup star would sign for Dundee?
As my mate says, "shy bairns get nae pudding".
(Note for non-Scots - This roughly translates into "If you don't ask, you don't get")

Now, Norm...you must know the situation that brought Argie-Lassie and Italian Silver-Fox to Dundee, and more to the point what happened next.

True, but it still happened.
I wonder if SI have a Corrupt-dictator-befriending-lawyer-but-not-really-a-lawyer involved in any take over deals?

Interesting thread. Once again, I'm not trying to bend rules or wind anyone up but I had a question along these lines and wondered what you guys would think.
To keep my younger and spare players fit I've been arranging friendlies between my Reserves and U18s, and also between my Reserves and other teams' Reserves and U18s. Would anyone object to me taking control of the Reserves for these friendlies in order to watch players on the other side? For instance, my Harrogate U18s have a friendly coming up against Arsenal's U18s. I think it makes sense for the manager to get down there and take a look at players he might be able to bring in on loan, for example.
The question isn't whether this is 'realistic' ... more whether people think it fits in with the LLM ethic of this forum.

It's realistic that you go watch YOUR U-18s to see how they're progressing, perhaps. Not to scout out Arsenal's youth.
