On the last version of FM (06) I took Kettering from the Conference North to the Premiership in 12 seasons! Can't remember the details of how long in each division!
Currently I am again Kettering, FM07, and have just started my 7th season and have just reached League One!
Won Cnf N, 2 seasons in the Cnf before play off promotion, and 3 seasons in Lge 2 finishing 3rd in the final one!
I think LLming this time has been a lot better. Come on The poppies!

If you read the updates some people haven't been promoted once (including myself) never mind got to the prem.
P.S. Have only just started season 3 on my current game.

Super tactic aint so super then & rehab might take a lot longer than you seem to think.

Errrr....sorry my thread caused any conflict.....

Anyhow I managed to get promoted from the Conf. North in my first season... no super tactic just a combination of lots of luck/ and my free transfers working out.

I'm currently preparing the best I can for a relegation battle with extremely limited resources! This is definitely what it's all about, being in it for the long haul

I'm currently trying to take Histon to the next level, spent two seasons in conf south, dominating the last one. Now Im in Conf National struggling in 21st place. Hard work.

Into 7th season with Barrow, still in Conf North, closest I got was finishing one goal off the playoffs
Never had it so bad, never enjoyed it so much.
