Default Do not understand registration in Spanish 2nd Division B

Hi,

I took up a team in the Spanish 2nd Division B.

I saw that I could register 22 players and give them squad number, but I wanted to wait until the end of the transfer window before posting it.

But then the game simply went past the deadline for registration without asking me to submit it (I counted on that).

I thought that now all player would be unregistered and unavailable, but instead all 25 players are available and squad numbers come up to more than 30.

So, what's the point of registering players?

I am using V7.0.2.

Personally I'd take it up with FIFA, but you could try GQ, I once noticed someone intelligent on there.

This is a question for...General Questions!!!

We don't understand things like that in here, bud. Just because it says "Lower League" doesn't mean we know anything about it

Actually you're theoretically right.

There's only 22 spots for registering players.

However, if you let the game autoregister the players it might have registered those players born before 01.06.1988 in the U18s as they still are ellegible to play for the U18s (and the U18s in turn are ellegible to play for the 1st team in turn).

Hth,
Jordi.

I opted for the short answer as I can't find the 'Register players in Spain 101' standard reply

If I understand it correctly, teams in Spain (and Portugal as well, I think) register 22 players for their senior team and 22 for their U-18s team.
Both first-team and U-18 players can play in first-team matches.

What Jordi is suggesting is that auto-registering players still gives you some U-18 players to choose from in addition to your first-team players who are obviously registered for first-team matches as part of the process.

Does that help?

NFI what happened to our OP, but having just been given the arse from a segunda div side I know how it works. Took several years, mind

If you don't register players you will keep the same players registered as previously.

If you register players early in the registration window those players will be the registered ones for the coming stanza should you forget to re-register later. You can re-register as many times as you like while the window is open.

You can register first team, reserve team and u-18s so a total of 66 players are eligible for first team action.

And, this really is a (Q)uestion of the (G)eneral nature, so it perhaps should have been placed in a spot where (G)eneral (Q)uestions are asked. (not answered though )

Thanks for your answers and apologies for posting in the wrong forum.

Is there a way to see which player have been registered in each respective team (A team, B team and U19)?
