Season 10 2016-2017 Leyton Orient

Having hemmoraged money the previous season to the tune of -£1,117,076 , the board was starting to be disgruntled with me. They gave me no transfer funds and told me to battle against relegation. For the first half of the season, thats exactly what I did much to the chagrin of the supporters. I started the second half of the season in 19th place when things started to finally turn around. The New year brought some encouraging results as I went 4-0-1 outscoring my opponents 10:4. The wins included a third round FA Cup win versus Southhampton . Due to injuries to my midfield, I brought in one veteran ML from Bohemians on a free who helped get me over a bad spot. With 11 games to go I was one spot out of the playoffs when the injury bug hit again. I had to settle with a finish of 12th although since I exceeded everyone's expectations they all love me again. Of course, turning a profit of over £600,000 and getting us back in the black ink helped alot as well.

Well, I spent 2 weeks in St Louis getting trained for the franchise business I purchased, so I couldn't find a whole lot of time to write another updagte, even though I did bring my laptop there so that my FM addiction could be managed...so its about time for another update..since I finished the season at least a week ago.

Season 11 2017-2018 Leyton Orient
Well somethings never change. 1 point in our first four games gave us a now customary slow start. But 34 points in our last 14 games allowed us to close the gap with the top and finish in 3rd place. Unfortunately, Fulham sent us crashing out of the playoffs and dooming us to another year of Division 1 football. We brought in three players and dumped 6 stiffs. The pressure will be on the following season as nothing less than promotion will be acceptable.

Season 12 Mid-season Update Leyton Orient

Expectations of winning division 1 should have been a realistic goal. However, my now legendary and congenital defect of startimg slow finally caught up with me. Two days before Christmas and languishing in 18th place was too much for the Chairman to bear and he gave me the axe. I've only been out of work for a month when first place in the Northern Ireland Premier League Ballymena came calling. I took the job with the thought that I'll at least get some European Exposure.
