Default Torquay - Lower League or Not?

Just wanted to get some debate going.

If you look at Torquay on the 7.02 update they are in a complete mess. They have no reserves or under 18's.

In fact if you look at the teams in the ECN or ECS they all have bigger squads.

If I play LLM rules, and gave Torquay a go would I be allowed to post my update after 3 seasons?

Oh yes, I do vist the tactics section, however if went LLM then the rules are the rules and I would beg for your forgiveness.

Hard hat at the ready

LLM = starting in the lowest playable league. So if Torqueay is in the Conf N/S it's a LLM team, if they are in the Conference and you have a crap pc on which you can play FM only with 1 country and only 5 leagues then the Conference could classify too.
If they are L2 and above, don't bother to start an update thread here.

See they are in League Two, so we really don't care about updates then

There is a caveat in the guidelines which does allow a newbie-LLMer to have a go at a slightly higher level to see if LLM is for them, but certainly not a full 3+ season save. Personally, if you want to try cutting your teeth in the way of the LLaMa, playing a season with Torquay would be fine, but then if you were a real LLaMa you'd be dumping that save and going straight to the basement level.

But then you asked a couple of years ago about trying out a save (with Grays) which you didn't complete...

:o I did play a LLM in 2006 with Carshalton and in 9 years got as high as the Championsip. Did not post an update though as I got so into the game any time was better spent playing

I wanted to have another go in 2007, however Carshalton got relegated!!!!

Oh well I can have a bash with Torquay and keep it to myself, or I could take on Welling.

Thanks for the feedback though.

In my humble opinion, if you put any kind of condition or allowance on it, it aint really LLM.

If you you have a preference for a particular club & they aren't in the lowest possible div of their league, that's conditional.

I love the LLM threads, no matter what the debate it always kicks off in some way.

Best pages on the web, don't post often but read every day.

Keep it up guys.

Don't nobody read the freakin' guidelines?

Quote:
In Summary:

Conference North and South - Lower League
Conference - Lower League-ish
League 2 - Lower League, but with reservations.
League 1 - Really pushing it.
Championship - You're having a laugh.
Now...where's Torquay? Bottom of the "Lower League, but with reservations", ain't they?

Too many reservations, they have largish potential for their current lowly position.

"That my son, is a right touch"

The reservations can be covered by how crap Torquay are with no squad.
