Default Affiliated clubs in Ireland

I'm currently starting a career in Ireland. I've seen in threads that the english FA doesn't allow affiliation deals between clubs, I wanted to know if that is also the case with Ireland and the FAI. Does anybody know?

Thanks in advance.

Have to admit I'm not sure, though Keith found something on the web about a Norn Iron Club being affiliated with a non-professional Club in the same Nation.

...aren't all Norn Irish Clubs non-pro, btw?

Ian, fatal mistake to make. He's talking about Eire and the FAI, not Northern Ireland and the IFA :herman:

Hence why I said Norn Iron as opposed to the Republic?

An Englishman, a Scotsman, and a Welshman talking about an Irishman ... there's got to be a joke in there somewhere ...
