Actually Ian, Linfield have very recently become the first ever fully professional team from Northern Ireland. </BLOCKQUOTE>

They have become professional during my current game, which I was quite surprised about.

I was doing some research myself and I didn't found much info, besides reading about how important is lotto in irish clubs' finances...

Anyway, there is not much difference between the teams in terms of players, so:

1) I won't ask for a feeder club.
2) Even if I get Bohemians or Shelbourne as a parent club, I would prefer playing my own crappy youngsters than theirs. Therefore, I'll be looking for an english or scottish parent club. (I assume this is allowed)

So problem solved

In the unlikely event that the missus is reading this, there's nothing wrong with a big, white, hairy arse dear. Honest!

When I was managing in Norn Iron I noticed a 2nd div side - Ballysummit had a feeder club in non-league Ballysummitelse. The parent club had to pay a ridiculous fee which was surely a bug - it dragged the club into unsustainable debt.
