Your all wrong. :p
Best strategy is to make sure you have 2 half backs, 1 full back and 4 quarter backs.
That should give you 3 backs, and everyone knows a team needs a strong spine.

Yeh but using 7 players to fill 3 positions doesn't leave many attacking options and tbh a pair of wing three quarters doesn't add up.

I always find that the player description "Center Back" is an excellent tip off that a player may be able to keep the oposition from scoring. I'd reccomend you play a goalkeeper too... An under-rated but practicly essential position.
Of course, it pays to remember that "They can't score if you constantly kick them in the nuts, kill their keeper and sub keeper then keep scoring yourself"...

I play a 0-0-10 strategy. I need it because my strikers are crap. But then my defense is crap so I don't worry about not playing any... makes no difference.

I always thought "defence" was something at the bottom of "degarden". Judging by my results, so do my team.
