My Bishop stortford team after the 1st season in league 1 lost 900k of our 1m bank. This is partly due to a max capacity of 4k for home games and no cup run. Im 12k under my wage budget of 35k ans spent nothing as i believed everything needed to be saved.
However, end of the seaon the bank loans us £2.6m, payable in 26k monthly installments for some 8.3 years! Surely this is unrealsitic? Not a wiff of board investment, a shirt deal work a poxy 95k over 3 years and no way of making the money back. The board have gone crazy and given me a 42k wage and 400k transfer budget! Madness!
Is this normal? I have no players of any value over 150k, and cant see how it will be repaid.
I do agree in the sense that the money as "manager" is none of business (i feel a Jose and Chelski moment coming along) but if they cant pay it, they will cut my wages further, prevent expansion etc..

Just didnt seem realistic in terms of LLM.
It is realistic, though, and mirrors the tensions in the real life running of football teams.
Team is in financial difficulties, board manages to bale them out, money is tight, funds are cut from the playing side, manager jacks in protest.
I actually agree, it makes more sense written down.
They have now thrown me out of woodside park to the CLIVE WILSON stadium in Bihsop's Stortford (a ground named after a old spurs full back in my town, id never hear of it!!) with less capacity than my current one whislt they expand by 5400!

If they do that, go and manage somewhere else. It's simple really.
Not really up for leaving, it is one of the best sides i have built in many saves. Just wondered how rare it was for the board to bring millions of pounds worth of debt and practically bankrupt a club after relative success (not bragging) 3 promotions in 5 season.
