Hi all,
My first team in fm2007, after starting out unemployed in Asia, is Nanchang in Chinese 1st div. No money, relegation favourites, not many fans etc etc. I did ok after my first season and kept them up, but no thanks to the refereeing! My team had 6 red cards, opposition 0. Players booked in every game for every small misdemeanour, opposition players let off with a warning for same offence. I had no penalties awarded, but conceded several, most controversial. I had goals disallowed (3 in one game!!!) opposition 0 disallowed.
Why is this? Is this common to all LLMs. Is it a part of the 2007 game? If I was to manage ManU would this go into reverse and I get all the refereeing decisions in my favour?

Those things could happen for a lot of reasons. Whether or not they would happen if you were to play with manu; who knows? No one here I suspect.

Reminds me of the old tale of a Manure fan who missed the match at Ole Trafferd, when told it ended 0-0 he asked, "who missed our penalty"?

All football was suspended in China due to corrupt refereeing and only re-commenced this season. You play LLaMa for the realism - you should be overjoyed that SI pay so much attention to detail! :p

You got 6 red cards in a single game? I'm amazed. I would have expected that according to FIFA rules, the match would have been abandoned.

The game's not that realistic else there would be a 'referee interaction' screen. What about it SI?
Back to China, I never said I had 6 red cards in one game. It was over a season of 24 games. That's not a lot, only when compared to opposition teams' none.
I did have 3 goals disallowed in one game. I wonder if anyone has had more?

I, too, had three once, but that's the most goals disallowed against me in one game. So, looks like we're tied, mate.

I had four players sent off in a minute when I was playing in China. Don't know if it's coincidence or bias.
