Hej, I hope this post is not too long. I like that FHM forum is friendly and not as petty / critical.
Some topic points:
1- Sugar daddy. I have unlocked this function this week. The money is a dream. Naturally, with that budget comes expectancy. I have no problem with expectancy, I take small teams into European contenders. Now it is unlocked however, I test started one off with Aston Villa, my English team. I think they gave 34m but wanted the title.
I want to play with them but even if I spent half the money they would still want the title. So if I come 4th I hope not to be sacked.
My point is, I think i prefer the option turned off. Are there any other players that turn this off except for the occasional novelty?
2- What makes the regens good? I tell why. I like to arduosly look at them all. I do player search, and change view to sort by age ascending from say 15... Ok so I sign many prospective players under £50k. A couple of years later they are dependable. Are all regens set to just grow to a superb ability? Or do they all have PA and CA that determine? I ask as I don't seem to sign players that disappoint.
3- In season 2 I am finding that some players are signed for a value, but on one year contract. I say why. James Mcfadden got sold in season 1 for 5mill to Real Soceidad. He then appeared on the contract expiring screen the same season. He is not the only one I have encountered. Anybody experience this?
4- I am still delighted with the game. My love for it would be iced if SI programmed in Swedish Allsvenskan. I mean to offend no Australians, but their league is in the game... Sure, people get the freedom to choose. I am sure many people play Australia (from Europe etc). I'm just biased and nudge nudge wink wink would like to petition for my league to go in FMH09 (size permitting). Ok I may be on my own. Worth a shout for sure. To manage Djurgarden on PSP would be joyous.
