Default are we going to be happy

it is interesting to read various threads about people having problems with so called 'bugs' while others not having any issues at all.

this is nothing to do with booboys v fanboys, just an observation.

it seems to be different for almost everyone. prior to the second patch, i could complain re penalties not being given, but now i get slapped on the wrist everytime i do so.

however, i haven't seen anyone complain too much about this.

so the question is, why do we experience different problems and not all..or non at all.

will the final patch clear up the issues reported so far? will it create new problems?

are we ever going to be happy? on a personal note, im quite happy with the current patch.

I was quite happy with the latest beta patch, but I did a format of my computer and won't be starting a save on it. This is simply because I can't get into a game when I know that I will want to start a new save in a couple of days when the patch is released, rather than being annoyed about bugs. Yeah, there are a few annoying problems, but I didn't really care to be honest - it didn't stop me from playing the game and getting a good amount of enjoyment from it. However, it will be nice when a majority of the problems are sorted and the game will be better for it.

I imagine people experience different bugs because everyone plays the game in different ways and different levels of deepness. For example the people that play the matches on commentary only for quickness probably wouldn't have noticed the closing down problem even, whereas it was fairly obvious to people that watch 2d matches.

Who knows what the patch will sort out and if it will create new problems, no point in speculating about that really as it will be impossible to tell until it is out.

These idiots who say there's nothing wrong with the game probably don't play it properly. The pick Chelsea, Barcelona or Man Utd, have an all out attack tactic and go and make a cup of tea whilst leaving the game on commentary only at key moments. When they come back and they've won 6-4 they think they're Alex Ferguson or Capello.

For those who want to play a realistic football simulation, FM is anything but - and what's worse the match engine is a major backwards step from FM07.

Was it tested properly, not a cat in hell's chance. SI passed the buck on to the consumers.

First of all, I believe "some idiot" is directed at yourself

secoundly, even if you do pick the best teams, go all out will still see your team get torn apart by lesser side. It is YOU who hasnt played FM properly

and if you feel FM is anything but realistic, go away.

I totally not agree.

I never play with a big team, I always play with some non-achievers somewhere and I think the matchengine had greatly improved over 07 and am heavily addicted to the game.

Stop flaming. If you like the game then what the hell are you doing here? Do you purely exist to lick SI's ass?

For two weeks, every time I come here I've noticed you ruining threads and being disruptive by attacking those who are critical of the game.

People are entitled to say what they want after they have parted with their hard earned money. They don't want to be senseless attacked by some dick who pretends the game is good when 75% of the forum is saying it isn't and SI have admitted multiple flaws.

if you are entitled to destroying the game, we are also entitled to destroy....YOU. freedom of speech goes both ways.

and I can say out of 10000 forum members I can only see like 100 or so moaners lie you. SO......100/10000 = 75% ? SMART ASS!

So getting SAFC into title contenders in 2 seasons is easy?! 6th 1st season 3rd 2nd season. But obviously I should be doing better with such a big club!

If you're only allowed to be on here to complain, surely it would be 100% of the forum. You've shot a large hole in your own wrong assumption. Most people who come on here, do so to criticise constructively (to improve the game). It's difficult to take your opionated view as valid, when you are so defensive and charmless. Get some social skills, or join all the others who lack it: on 'big brother'. Pointless aggression...on a forum which has asked people to stop it.
Most would agree with Giziar, I bet. I certainly do.
