I don't have FM08 yet, but I'm wondering if teams still change their formation to 4 up front and score 2+ goals in the last 30 mins because of it?

They do change but they don't score as often as they did in FM07.

if it's an AI team they will score if you don't go defensive, if you try to go 4-2-4 you probably won't score and won't win any balls on the midfield

It iss annoying that you have to change the tactics at 80 minutes to prevent the last minute goals the AI gets.

In a future version maybe the players should automatically not throw away the game each time by automatically being defensive and wasting time - or at least give the player the option to preset this.

Perhaps like a macro system - so you could setup a button to introduce multiple changes to help you defend a lead.. or whatever else you might want to do.
