This isn't a complaint about all the big money transfers between AI clubs btw.
I've just started my 3rd season with Everton and the AI negotiations are becoming a bit of a joke imo
Players Such as Taye Taiwo (6.25 mil)
Ricardo Quaresma (7.75mil)
and Luka Modric (7.75 mil)
get bids for them negotiated to ridiculous prices. I bid 13mil for Taiwo and Marsielle negotiate it to 24m upfront with 2.5m over 24 months O_o only to then accept a bid of 16m anyway :/
Bid 16m for Quaresma to get back 19m upfront and 8m over 18 months
and finally a bid 11m for Modric and then get 21m upfront and 10m over 24 months
it seems the AI have gone crazy to me.
I'm not sure about the experiences of others so if anyone else keeps getting/not getting this insane AI I'd like to hear about them
P.S The currency is GBP (my keyboard is set to American so there isn't a pound sign or summin -_-)
On my latest game portsmouth sold david james for 3mil then bought Ben foster from Man U for 20mil and I had scouted him before he was sold and told not to buy once he was at pompey though he was regarded as a definite purchase and I cant remember this guys name his two best stats were 16 finishing and 16 accel and the rest of his stats were average and Chelski bought him for 27mil and promptly put him in their reserve team for the rest of the season.

Fail to see the problem here! Taiwo is an important part of the Marseille team so they obviously want to keep him. Don't know what their finances are like, but assuming they're secure then they have no reason to sell him. This is the opposite to what most people are complaining about:
Bid £13m
AI asks for £24
Bid £16m
AI asks for £28m
That's usually how the AI conducts its negotiations. This is the first time I've seen proper bargaining; you offer one amount, they ask another and the two meet somewhere in the middle. Spot on!
