The patch in my opinion has really ruined the game. It seems imposible to score a goal! Let alone win a game. When i spend 25 quid on a game that is poor, i expect the patches to actually fix it! But its made things worse. The match engine has turned terrible. PLayers with 18+ for finishing hitting 1-on-1's 10 yards wide, corners not going any further then the front post despite being told to aim for far post or six yard box! Honestly, SORT IT OUT SI! And sorry people if u think im just another whinning muppet, but its the first time ive ever complained about an FM game! Either the january patch drastically improves the game or i may have to stop buying the kind of games i love as i cant resort to buying champ man!
Can the people at Si honsetly say..that they are 100% satisfied with the game that they have made???

Making a new topic when there's countless others is the best way to get yourself put on post moderation. There's a search function (even if it's crap) and it's not like you have to search to find a similar topic to post in.

Saying 'Please post all your complaints and criticisms in one thread' is akin to saying 'Please add all your grievances regarding the health/education system to the end of John/Jane Doe's letter so the government can ignore you all in one go' :thdn:

These people aren't complaining and criticising because it's a fun activity or the new must try experience. FM 2008 has been a huge disappointment to many and the bugs that persist even after a major patch only compound that disappointment. People who've paid good money for this game have every right to author a thread on this forum and refuse to be just another dissident neatly pushed to one side.

Well there's constructive criticism and just plain out whinging. There's nothing constructive in the OP.

The more whinging threads started the more likely they'll be ignored. SI are aware of the problems contrary to the belief of some people here and there will be another patch soon enough.

Sorry I'm going to have to disagree. Every team has issues scoring at one point or another. To say you can't score due to the patch is ********. I'm sure you arent blaming your tactics for any of this. I haven't really had a problem scoring tbh. I went through a lean streak of 10 matches only scoring twice, tweaked my tactics and rotated in a new striker and my problem was solved.

It's fine to not like the game but no need to start yet another thread about how you don't like it, there are plenty of those to find and post in.

I think the threads like this appearing are down to one thing- people are starting to get bored with new FM releases following the same pattern of an incredibly flawed release, followed by a couple of months before the game is in a decent state. Especially as the game itself isnt exactly taking huge strides forward each year.

Theres only so much people will put up with.
