If the match engine is not settled in the next patch then I will swear not to buy any further version from SI.

1. one on one chances
2. stupid throw-in (they actually threw-"out")
3. defenders marking & closing down problem
4. center midfielder keep the ball stupidly until the opponent take it.

All they really need to do is iron out the blatent bugs with the existing features (i.e. Spanish resgistration) and do A LOT of work on the match engine.

I only installed and started playing the game last week, but I'm quite staggered at just how awful the 2D looks this time round. I'm genuinely shocked that it's managed to go so far backwards versus 7.0.2.

Agree with many others, the match engine is the biggest issue. sort that, and the rest will fall into place.

I think you need to read the topic title before passing on advice.

Things like a better manual and scouting teams can't be added to FM08. I said the thread is turning into another version of the wishlist. Which it is. There's about 50 topics about fixing the match engine, and the rest of the suggestions here can only be fixed in future versions.
