Chilli, I'm with you. Had some trouble initially, but I have learned how important it is to keep morale up, through well-placed comments and knowing how certain players react. Some days, you just aren't going to win, regardless of how many good chances you get. We see it all the time in football. I won League 2 with Stockport the first season with the Beta patch and am 3rd in League 2 halfway through the 2nd season with the official patch and only 2 points out of 2nd.

Create own plays. Make players practice these plays (not just "attacking", "ball control", etc...)

I agree with this but it has been stated that the way the game works this would be difficult to implement & would probably lead to loopholes where killer plays would make winning every game too easy, or too hard if the AI could do the same. However, how about certain coaches, especially the best ones, having special plays they can introduce to the team? Surely that would work as it would be controlled with no variable to unbalance the gameplay.
Those over 40 (me included!) may remember when T Venables was a young manager, he used to introduce amazing & unseen free kick routines. Shame he was never allowed to do this with the England team under Steve Mc.

Just wanted to point everyone to the forum header: Suggestions for future versions
Individual ideas on one subject should be posted in their own topic. Please name your topics sensibly and give an indication of what it is about. If you want to list ideas then please use this Wishlist topic

Apart from what has already been said:
1) Stop players running away from the bloody ball, or ignoring it.
2) Stop the amount of totally unnecessary cynical off the ball fouls. Im glad its been added but as usual with new features there is no subtlety in its implementation.
3) Slightly tweak the effectiveness of pace- it makes players with poor technical and mental attributes gods as defenders simply cannot live with it.
4) In addition to this stop slow players appearing to walk to ball- no professional player runs as slowly as they do at times in FM.

Oh and sort out the offsides.
I know linos make mistakes but not when players are level with the passer or a good couple of yards on and bunched with 5 or 6 opposing players.
