The anti-piracy effort is a joke. Really don't know why game companies continue to bother. All the anti-piracy efforts do is hamper legitimate owners of the game.
I like to play on my main pc normally which is faster, but I also play on my laptop with my housemates and I have to go and get the damn cd everytime I want to play on a different computer, pain in the backside if the computer with the disc in is off.
I think they should look at Steam/Valve distribution model or Stardock, Galactic Civilisations 2 in particular is a good example.
Make owning and using the game easier, while making updates and other goodies more difficult for non-legitimate owners to obtain, works better to stop piracy than any piece of anti-piracy coding ever will do.
