Hey everyone,

Im making myself very angry with my inability to get this thing 2 work.

I downloaded the beefsters stadium pack and as far as im aware its in the correct file, but nothing seems to be happening!

I imagine its me being a dumbass and ive read the main thread but cant see where im going wrong, im sure its obvious 2 you gents who are dab hands at backgrounds and skins but im clueless!

Someone be a scholar and put me right!? an idiots idiot step by step walk through guide or something!!

Stadium pics in the background add so much and im missing out! There, thats an emotional appeal!!

your not alone if you look i posted the same topic about half an hour ago but guess what no replies so here we go i hope i can help

1:make sure you have winrar so you can extract the file

2:its no good just extracting them to the skin folder in document and settings you must click on c:drive then programm files then sigames then data base then graphics then backgrounds thats were i think you need to put them

3:start your game (not sure if it has to be a new game) go to preferances then display and sound then tick the background box.

4:now has it goes backgrounds are not skins so they would not be under that section you should still have the 2 default selections there.

5:this is were im up to i dont acually know if this is right but hopefully my information points you in the right direction.

6:if you want a skin then look on the forum and you should be able to find one easily them follow the same instuctions

hope this works if this turns out to be wrong i do apolligise and if you find the correct way then please if you have time email me and let me know i will keep trying thanks magsdave

guys.....posted this back in December......



not sure why people aren't getting this to work..only seems a few people aren't.

1. extract the zipped file.
2. move the folder to....

CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data\graphics\backgrounds


so within the backgrounds folder is the superpack folder of pictures...with it's own config file within it.


putting it here means it doesn't matter which skin you use as it loads missing configs from the main Graphics folder rather than the skin's graphics folder.

in preferences tick the 're-load skin on confirm'.....then click confirm.....


REMEMBER - if you have detail level on none, the pics only seem to work for your matches or matches in your league....clicking on matches of other teams in other competitions may not always show the pic.....

PLUS - don't forget the BUG that is the 'in/out' process of looking at other matches - on first viewing the pic wont be there....on second viewing of match result screen it will be......BUG BUG BUG

After thinking I had it sussed it appears not!

Playing my game and when on the main squad screen under my teams name is now a seemingly random number (723) where it used to say ur current league posistion.

Its the same when I look at other clubs (Man Utd had a real long number)

No background pics have appeared in my friendlies and the number thing i find a little odd! any of you gents know what the feck is going on???
