Hi, I'm not really sure where to ask this, I couldnt see a thread on it after a quick search, but if there is one I appologise and please could somebody direct me to it?

Now, I have download alot of stadium pictures (basically so when I get bored of my current backgrounds I can just swap to a new set for a fresh look). However, I have have pictures of stadiums during a match (at full capacity) and stadiums that are completely empty and it seems a shame to have this variety and not being able to use them all at once.

Is there anyway to program a config file so it shows the empty stadium picture during the week (when not playing matches) and then the full capacity stadium picture on match day screens during the games only? Maybe by linking empty pictures to the club ID and the full pictures to the stadium ID, or is this totally impossible?

Thanks for any replies. It's obviously not something needed in the game, but would just add a nice touch if it was possible - and sorry again if there is a really obvious post about this that I have missed.

Yeah, thats perfectly possible. You'd need config lines with team IDs for the empty stadiums and stadium ID lines for matchday.

Just make sure you name the two pics of each stadium differently and replicate these names in the config.

EG
<record from="arsenal" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/5114336/background"/>
<record from="arsenal2" to="graphics/pictures/team/602/background"/>

"arsenal" would be the full stadium pic and "arsenal2" would be the empty one that'd show during the week.

Thankyou! I will try this out later on, sounds like it could take a while to do though as I have stadium pictures for most teams in the top 2-3 divisions of most major European countries *sigh*

It will be a nice effect though so I guess the effort will be worth it. Thanks again!

paulsgruff, did you ever manage to set up your alternate stadium pictures. This sounds like a great idea and I woundn't mind downloading this if you did. Thanks for any info.
