I like the BG alot, appears you've put a lot of effort into it. But I think to really set it off, a blended image of either Van Bommel or the emblem into the BG would look good too.
The text is great, simple, yet great. It suits the sig nicely and doesn't outshine anything else created.
The render is great too, the effects on it are also cool and the stroke looks good in the sig.
Well done mate, overall its a very nice sig and I anticipate yuor next one.
