Every time i use the editor i cant get the changes to save so i can use them for the game, what do I do?

You just save it.

They will be saved in
My Documents>Sports Interactive>FM 07> db but should be copied here:

C>Program Files>Sports Interactive>FM 07>Data> db

ive got a similar problem. ive saved it but i cant work out how to select that database for in-game use?

Same problem here I think.

Basically I'll save my edited database but then start a new game and the old database is the one thats used.

Anyone know how to get FM2007 to access the edited database?

basically once you've made changes it will ask you to name it and then you save.

the database folder is saved in:

My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007

you have to now move this folder to:

CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data

Start the game like normal and at the Main Menu Screen click on the Preferences button.

In the bottom half you see "User Data Folder" now change that path to the folder you just moved.

e.g CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data\nameyouchose

Confirm it and go to start new game and it should give you the choice of which database to use.

I have the same problem. When I use the editor and make my changes in the 7.0.2 Update, I save it.
Then in the new game I choose my database, but it is still the other 7.0.2 update which is running and not mine.
How can this be?
