I succesfully download 7.0.2 patch. But when i edit it it does not allow me the option of saving it. When u click save database the original filename does not occur, i saved it as new but this cannot be loaded in the game plzzz can someone help me,

when you edit a db I would suggest saving it a different name anyway.

As for not being able to load it. your edited db is it placed both on your C: drive where your game is installled and your My Documents folder?

there needs to be a new update released that fixes this problem. it has nothing to do with the game but to do with the 702 update. at least thats wat i think

you may not but as you've seen, theres a hell of a lot of people who do have problems...and i know i've tried every solution there is to try that have been suggested. so back to SI....WIL SOMEONE FROM SI SORT SOMETHING OUT FOR US PEOPLE WHO CANT GET THE EDITITOR TO WORK...PLZ

FM2007 wont be getting a new update as FM2008 will be out next

Im getting the same problem.

I was about to Post it but seems other people are getting it.

I will say something though,I tried to be clever and install a Skin,which didn't work as Im simple when it comes to Computers,I think I might of changed something by accident because the problem started after I tried installing the Skin.

My problem is.


I tried using the Editor as obviously theres some more signings,I did that fine and saved it fine.

I try to upload the Edited Database trying to select the File,like Patch 7.0.2 (PC) etc but the file isn't there.

But I go to My Documents and Sports Interactive etc then DB,the file comes up.


So how do I get the file to upload on the game itself?

well here goes nothing.. personally I've never encountered that problem...

1. When you save the database fill out all of the boxes and give the database file a new name. Overwriting the old one is never a good idea. ever.

2. when you've pressed NEW GAME. press the writing; 7.0.2 Update. and see if your database is there. select it and press OK.

3. If the above instructions do not work. go to Preferences.
There should be a section on the first page called "User Data Folder" make sure that is the same as the one your database is stored in and restart the game.

4. if even this fails. Reinstall the game and reinstall the patch. or possibly just reinstall the patch.

If none of these seem to help I suggest you e-mail SI-games tech support (or help section, forgot what they are called)
