Could someone give me a few pointers?
Basicaly what i want to do is use the dummy competitions. I would like to add them as possibly a league between the Conference & Football League Two. If this isnt possible i would like to have it so i can put 3 or 4 teams into it, and it could be played as like a state championship. But i could put Arsenal, Watford, Luton and Rushden into it. So that me and my friends could play eachother, but simaltaneously compete in our respective leagues.
I hope you can work out what im trying to do.

You can add teams to the dummy competitions but they are not playable or viewable.
At best, you could use them as a league for a country what doesn't have a league. The game will register players as having matches played in this competition, and history you add in the editor(competition winners/runners up/3rd place) will appear.
I Think you can use it to swap leagues using them so use the usual procedure , so if you wish to make it playable put say Ecuardorian teams in there however many there are, then find a league that has the xact same number and swap the teams and change the names, also look for Dav'es guide on how to change them.
