lost 2-1 away
lost 2-0 home
lost 1-0 home
lost 3-0 away
won 1-0 home (was a cup game though, against a lower league team)
lost 2-1 away
won 2-0 home
won 2-1 away (cup game again)
lost 1-0 away and the board asked me to resign... gonna have to look for another tactic I think.

Sorry, Alicante, that the tactic didn't work for you. Did you use the tweaks that I suggested in the post, or you didn't tweak the tactic at all?

And I don't know why it is like that, but every tactic I created never work in Italy .

I am now trying it with Chelsea. I know its a great team but it works great. Alone i have allot of shots of target. What would you do?

Tried this tactic for five games so far. It performed pretty well as my relatively championship side is playing in the premiership.

Newcastle 1 - Wolves 1
Moutinho(66) Nsue (45)
Taylor sent off (81)
Shots on Target - 9 Shots On Target - 1

League Cup
Torquay 0 - Wolves 1
Kamara (85)
Shots on Target - 3 Shots On Target - 1

Baclburn 3 - Wolves 1
Reid (6, 76) Varney missed pen (74)
Elliot (20) Nsue (67)
Shots on Target - 10 Shots On Target - 2

Wolves 0 - Fulham 1
Richards sent off (20) Bjorn Runstrom (69)
Shots on Target - 1 Shots On Target - 9

Wolves 1 - Middlebrough 0
Varney (44)
Dalla Valle sent off (60)
Shots on Target - 3 Shots On Target - 0

Aston villa 0 - Wolves 0
Shots on Target - 3 Shots On Target - 0

Quite a few sending offs, which i cant bame the tactic for. It seems like it does get your team playing, as you can see i dont creat many good chances, but i seem to still score.

Tweaked the tactic away a little, using counter attack and bringing the tempo down.

Keeper seems to play out of his skin with this tactic, could be something to do with how many shots he has to save.

Made a small adjustment to home tactic, incoporating a playmaker, instead of a midfielder who holds the ball up.

I have an abundance of target men, which is why this tactic intrigued me. So far so good as long as your sensible and adjust it where needed.

The Real behanger: You could try lowering the tempo and maybe removing Long Shots from the strikers.

Respected_Boss: To you lower the defensive line too in away games, like I suggested? And could you try using the playmaker with hold up ball?
The main reason why I but both midfielders on HUB is positioning. They seem to be in better positions to recieve the ball and they don't go forward as fast as they would without HUB.

I used it pretty much as it was. the team seemed to play better and create more chances, but it made my defence let almost anything in. but respected boss is right, the keeper plays relly well in this formation. went from 7 average, to 8 minimum overnight.

Im using Vecchio as a playmaker. Sometimes Jagielka takes his place, and obviously the playmaker is unticked and the hold up ball is ticked.

Yes ive lowered the defensive line when away, so far has paid big dividends for me. I managed to keep a steady seventh place with 28 games gone, but shown a small slump in form recently thats dropped me to 12th, the reason is all of my target men are injured believe it or not, and ive got four of them.

I also used counter attack both home and away.

My team is by far the worst in the division quality wise, but a top half finish you cant argue with. Not all tactics fit all teams, but most you can tweak to get the best out of them, if anyone needs any help just post a few of your players strengths and weaknesses and ill try to help.

wins to Man U, Arsenal, and a draw at Stamford Bridge say this tactic works.
