Default Fitness Training & workload

Hi, in my days playing FM07, I cannot manage to do a good preason fitness training no matter what the workload/coaches or club without mass injuries.

Can anyone who has had success with this type of training please let me know how they did it? cheers.

Heavy on strenght and aerobic for the first 2 weeks then concentrate on skills for another 2 weeks- therafter back to normal.

Yes that's preseason.

Use the FAQ..it deals with training and development...perhaps you could end up looking at training and development in the future...and become the expert.. ;-)

Yep- preseason is about getting natural fitness raised ( remember the days of running along beaches and up and down sand dunes?) before considering skills training again. Natural fitness is what drops off most during the close season so that is why you must concentrate on that first.

most of the training we did throughout the season was 'preason' training because they don't know anything else :p

gonna try it in short spurts, maybe a week at a time and a few days before the first match I'll switch back to skills.

BTW, I read through the tactics bible last week and read a bit about the training, I saw alot of people had the same problem too.
