It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

i do believe though that a difficulty setting would be wise
In a way the "Past Experience" is a difficulty setting. And SI have said that they will not have different levels of difficulty and I don't think they should either.

I'm 26 and still in love with Football Manager more than the other half (dont tell her thou!)i've been a play for 10 yrs now and the game is getting harder!if the game was as hard when i was 15 as it is now i doubt i'd still be a fan!

thats kinda my point, the kids should be able to enjoy this also, but most of them wont because its too difficult

i feel sorry for young footie fans because all they have is terrible manager games on the consoles that are utterr shitt

exactly. and when they try cm/fm they think its to hard. and that forces cm fm devopers to make game more appeling to them with graphics and support in the game and an ADVISOR.

I think an "easy" version would just need to loose th 424 tactic and not re-rank when your team are performing well. You would still have a challenge but would not have people feeling cheated. Also the good players could carry on as it currently is.

i still think a difficulty setting

at first on this demo i was smashed away from home in my opening two for liverpool......3-0 by everton and 3-2 by west ham

kids would have quit by then, not me though i am now 2nd after find the ultimate away formation wooo hoooooo
