Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Attacking Midfielders as Wingers

There are so many player who are AMR or AML such as c. ronaldo, j.cole. messi, shaun wright phillips, ricardo queresma etc and most are really bad (competent to awkward) at playing just right/left midfield. Is it OK to play them there or is its not. Otherwise it is very hard to get players who will work well in a 4-4-2 etc

It is ok to play them in MR/L, even if they have no rating there at all. The game treats them as being accomplished in those positions, as long as they are natural in AMR/L.

it's hard to say but i think if your tactics are on a right way it's no problem for the winger to adapt your tactics

They can play there, it doesn't affect them like it would if you put a striker as a left back or something totally irrelevant.

But keep in mind they are attacking players, so play them accordingly and they'll do fine.

I think the importance of players' positional attributes is overrated and an AMR playing as an orthodox MR should be absolutely fine... so should a quick striker or a fullback with reasonable passing and crossing. In practice, I think the only difference you'll notice is that a player with accomplished or higher MR will track back and help their fullbacks more effectively than a pure AMR, but it's not like you want Ronaldo or Messi to be doing a whole lot of defending anyway,
