In FM2007 the only way I could get my two FC's scoring (I always play 442) was to use fwd runs alot and dribble alot. Now in the 2008 demo, they seem to not get invloved enough, how can I cure this?

I have tried;
Having them play more & less deeper,
turned down and off fwd runs & rwb,
Changed my passing style and creative freedom.

Has anyone else had the same problem & what have you done to sort it?

I haven't played the demo enough to answer your question, but have you tried one striker with more mentality than the other?

it's said that the player positioned in the AMLRC will be likely to score more goals than the FC...i can't answer your question because i am playing 4321 and i require my foward to organize the attack like the role of Wayne..but still i am quite satisfied with his performance

I think it's because the match engine is now more realistic and I cant just pick two quick FC's who will dribble and score two win me the league.

I like to have people behind the ball and not leave the midfield bare (if I have too many people on fwd runs).

Maybe 433 will help me, to create more space up front. Will give it a go.

Lower Leagues Rule

Try your 433, and I would suggest using a target man, with passing set to direct or long. Just an idea, my target man in my 523 seems to do pretty good.

I havent found any scoring problems in the demo yet (maybe 'cos i'm Arsenal). If i want to be any good at FM08 when it comes out i better start practicing now, but i cant help but be annoyed that the demo is only a half season.
