Well apparently the storyline is pure wank and they concentrated on making it as bloody as possible. (So a friend tells me anyway)

Haven't really watched them recently and there not new but some films I'd reccommend;

The Godfather trilogy (Ground breaking, a movie made on tight budget causing outragous controversy. Completely hits the underground Mafia of Italian-American citizens in Little Italy right on the head - a must watch for anyone, classic.)

The Truman Show (Such a creative masterpiece, most people like Jim Carey when hes funny and I do too but this movie offers something different. It has never been done before, it can't be touched in terms of originality and creativity. Its quality to sit back and enjoy.)

Boyz N The Hood (Another classic movie, except this time unlike The Godfather its a 'gangsta' movie not a 'gangster' movie, yep theres a difference. This epic film is so educational as well as excellent for viewing. It displays an inner city hood with gang troubles being an everyday occurance, a must watch movie. Starring Ice Cube, Cuba Gooding Jr.)

These are my favourite movies, but i have a suggestion: read the book first!!! The book is more intresting...but you must to watch this movie too! So: read the book (i read it in 3 days) then watch the movie and the Don will never forget you!

I'd completely agree with that.

I saw Saw 2 (har-di-ho) earlier and to be honest it's fucking brilliant. More complex and and compelling than the first, so many twists as well. Go watch it.

c.s.a (newest spike lee film) : terrible film...good entertainment...well researched...may be of interest of you if only 1. you're interested in history or 2. you have an excellent command of american history and can draw a relation between history and 'what could've happened'...funny at times...could be found at your nearest indie theater

fear and loathing in las vegas : drugs drugs drugs !

hostel ='s eli roth...not taratino...tarantino ='s presentation only...

downloading dig! (chronicles a tour of the 'brian jonestown massacre') will post up my opinions when it comes through
