i have selected player interaction with genaro zeefuik, but i do not have a piece about tutoring. this may be because i don't have another dutchman in my squad. but i also have insua (aged 18) the argentine left back from liverpool and riquelme. as they are both from argentina, i was hoping to get riquelme to tutor. but again, it did not say in insua or riquelme's interaction that i get get one to tutor the other. i saw the linked players at the bottom and clicked on it but nothing happened.

am i doing it wrong or missing something

either way please help

players gotta have same postions and have save personality for tutoring to have a CHANSE to work.

Whats his age? The tutoring option will NOT be active on Riquelme as he's too old. As for Zeefuik, if he's under 21 AND still developing (ie, he's not reached near his potential yet), then the option should still be active. It doesnt matter if you dont have any Dutch players in your squad. Same is the case with Insua. But tell me, why the hell would you get Riquelme to tutor Insua??? One is a AMC and the other is a LB! Unless you want have him learn things off the field. Which would still not be good as Riquelme's attitude sucks and he's lazy.

Also, look at the coach reports of the player you want tutored. If you assistant manager advises you there that for egm Zeefuik can benefit from being tutored by Riquelme, then you can go for it. And also, if in the coach reports there's no option advising you about a player benefiting from being tutored, that means he's past the age or is experienced enough to not be tutored anymore.

Can anyone tell me the results of being tutored by a player? I bought Henry Saviet and he's been tutored by Ronaldo and Rooney and i'll probably give Giggs a go too but i've not really seen any feedback from my coaches saying what they gained from the experience.

I would imagine the mental abilities would be improved from tutoring like composure and work rate rather than the physical ones like passing or pace.
