Default What are the most important aspects of a assman/scout?
For scouts I'm thinking it's judge ability/potential, determination and working with youngsters...or is it?

As for ass man I keep looking for the ones with good tactical knowledge...I could hardly find any with high motivation...

For scout just go for Judge PA and CA, they are more accurate.
I'm not sure how having good working with youngster/determination would help.

For ass man, besides having coaching attributes that you want, man management, squad discipline, and motivating are the main stats. Tactical knowledge is only for when you are on holiday or get banned and need his help to run the game.
Judging CA/PA, determination, adaptability are working with youngsters are also good to have.

Scout - Judge PA and CA are the most important ones.

Ass Man - Motivating, man management, tactical knowledge, working with youngsters.
