got him off arsenal for 7 mill in my second season...not sure if he starts with them...but hes been immense for me so far at def mid or centre back...avg rating 8.2

Yes, he is brilliant and yes he does start at Arsenal. But I think you might have paid a tad too much for him. But alls well I suppose since he's performing brilliantly for you. :thup:

Stay in Wenger's good graces mate. Whenever you play Arsenal or even otherwise, I'd say just praise Wenger a little. If you can become friends with him then you're in luck because you can pick up a lot of young stars for very cheap rates. Do the same with SAF. No point doing it with Liverpool as they change their manager after every 6months or so! Lol.

cheers for the advice mate....iv been doing something similar with fergie and getting his youngsters on loan...my squads a bit thin
