Second season, first in Premier League, after some advice on my team. I know I need to strengthen my defence but what else?

subs inc- Andre Doudin,Buonanotte(v injury prone), Barazite, Lulinha, Edmilson, Nordveit, Lewis Stevenson and Jourdren amongst others.

Currently 5th(somehow, must be the tactic) 17 games gone. Playing short quick passing with as you can see two attacking CM but playing CM, Wingers with farrows to striker. Also what about my DM, Bangura is doing well but just average(expecting to lose him soon though

How much money do you have? Well done on getting Lulinha, Nordtveit and Barazite. Also see if you can pick up Song & Hoyte from Arsenal. If not Song (sometimes he's expensive), then get Flamini. He's a very good DM.

Hoyte is a very solid CB. Flamini solid DM and can play RB and LB if needed. If you get Song, he can play CB too. So some pretty good and versatile players. That should give you a good, strong defence. You could always try to get guys like Hobbs, Mancienne on loan, if not buy. All those players can be picked up for between 1-3M (if you're lucky that is).

Why dont you get Eddie Johnson for striker? Everybody raves about him and he'll get you a lot of goals. Should cost about 2M or so. Give Barazite and Lulinha a go in some games. They both are very good, espcially Lulinha.
