Let me tell you what happens.
You're promoted to the EPL, you do okay, qualify for Europe through the Inter-Toto or Uefa Cup, season two...you struggle like a bastard, do okay in Europe, and are relegated 4 times out of 6.
How do I know? Because it's happened 4 times out of the 6 times I've done it, and that's only in FM2007...it was the same in previous incarnations.
The 2 times out of 6 I escaped relegation by the skin of my teeth.
Funny thing is, when/if you get promoted with a
second , or subsequent, team...then it doesn't happen, only with the first.
I'm sitting here laughing because the aquaplaning's about to happen again. We just beat Galatasaray 5-0 on aggregate in the 2nd knock-out round of the Uefa Cup, and we have 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th in the next four league games.

i found that out with norwich my first 5 seasons ended up like this Promoted relegated promoted releagated and now with 2 games to go in championship nearly at the promised land again

i did start at braintree but my save was corupted but for some reason this always happens to me -we play a cup tie we win/lose and then go on to lose our league fixture after the cup game

I can't say that I've ever seen anything that says LLM means that you must stay in the lowest possible division in a country.
