I've seen it too, in other versions (yet to get to the EPL in 07). You always seem to do too well in that first season and then get the struggle you should have had in the second one, except that now it's compounded by a Euro Cup or the like.

More like the other Suffolk team.
Anyway, I've got some sympathy for Ian here. My team are in their second season in Serie A and it's every bit the dogfight I thought last season would be. And yes, some of the 'symptoms' of this slump are similar to those of Aquaplaning.
I'm not giving up, though. Waving the board's chequebook around makes me feel a little better and results could improve yet...

Just a small mathematical note from a pedant.....
1 to the power of anything you like, no matter how big, is still 1. Doesn't really act as anything on the end of your heading Ian, as it doesn't increase the force of your statement by any more than the statement itself  | |
