I've decided to avoid Frank on this one and loaded up the Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Scotland, and England, all playable leagues and fictional players, oh and the patch 7.01. I searched for the worst team I could find. After looking I stumbled upon …………………
Varbergs BoIS in the Swedish 2nd Division WG. When I took over the team they were worth 3K, that’s right 3K. We had no players, no wage budget, and no transfer budget, so off I went.
2006 – Varbergs BoIS - Swedish 2nd WG
I tried to bring in a couple of players on free but no one was coming to play for me. I had to sign some grayed out players just to fill the squad. Needless to say the season didn’t so very well. We never got out of last place and I resigned with 9 games to go.
So after searching the job market I came across a team from Norway, Alta IF.
2006 – Alta IF – Norwegian 2nd Div Conf 4
Alta was in last place when I took over; I managed to go 2-1-1 in the final 4 games of the season and moved us out of the drop zone. This team has no players also, so I sent out my scouts to go find some. The nice thing about Alta IF was that we have some money. A decent transfer budget and wage budget should help during the offseason.
2007 – Alta IF – Norwegian 2nd Div Conf 4
I went out and signed 5 top flight under 21 players all on free transfers. As a result my team was very young and I knew it would be a long season. We had our ups and down and settled in 9th place. The team showed great improvement and I felt confident going into the offseason.

2008 – Alta IF – Norwegian 2nd Div Conf 4
Signed an experienced DM from Croatia (playing in Norway), and changed the tactics which fit my players a little better during the preseason. We started out like a ball of fire and never stopped. We dominated the league and only dropped two games. My young striker and AMR began to develop into very good players. We won promotion with 4 games left. 1st division here we come.

I basically kept the same team, no new players added. We are still semi-professional and the board refuse to improve anything. I thought that this was a little bit rough considering we are making a ton of money and half the teams in the 1st Division are professional. The season started out well with us in the top half. A big slide towards the end of the season and we end in 9th place. I figured I would never going to get promoted to the premier division without the board improving something, so I took a stand on the improvement of the youth academy and they sent me packing. Well off we go again.

2009 – Elgin City – Scottish 3rd Division
I was able to get a job with Elgin with about 4 games left. The team has a decent young striker and not much else. The stadium holds 464 seated, but 1500 can stand. Money is flying out the door as well. I was able to take team from 6th to 10th during my first year.
I planned on going out and signing a lot of players during the offseason, and hiring a whole new staff.

Brought in some wingers, but my scouts weren’t able to find too many players wanting to come to Elgin. All season I was mid table, but never far out of the playoffs, even though my team was playing way over their heads. A late season push got us into the playoffs and we had a quick exit out of them. My young Striker is beginning to turn into a star, but we are still a couple of players away.
