Realism? Woking as an example, over the past few years have picked up an Iraqi keeper and a Jock forward as Spurs rejects, a couple of players from SPL clubs and a few Championship sides rejects.
Wombledon loaning/signing Premiership reserves? They nicked our aforementioned Jock forward, so it's more like the Conference. No need for the player naming either, idiot.
FFS, I'm not a total arse, manager naming? Since when was manager naming not allowed? And what does it matter, if you can't SIGN A MANAGER YOU STUPID IDIOT </BLOCKQUOTE>
/me shoots self, and abologises fervently.
A slip of the finger. My apologises to the Fids bloke, and a plea to Mr. Ian to edit my post.
Again apologies.
I see Kriss's take on it, but surely if I'm at, say Didcot Town, and I take a day trip to Oxford training ground (8 Mile round trip) or Reading (40 mile round) to watch the reserves play, surely I WILL hand pick my player? This is similar to watching the reserve team lists of top players, surely?
It's always worth seeing the views of others quinn. I personally don't play it that way (It being hard to scout in the premiership, when in Sweden), I was just seeing the views of people should an opportunity turn up at my beloved Swansea City or anywhhere...
Your scout might well watch Reading reserves. But he'll initially see 11 players, not just the one. (i.e the in-game instruction to Scout the team, not a player)
I'm not sure that the accepted guideline doesn't take you close to where you want to be at this point. Is there a need to push it further?
You know what irritates me more than anything? It's the combined arrogance and utter stupidity of those guys who come in with "I'll tell you what I think", and "Colchester signed a Ghanaian", and "There's a list that managers get" and think they're the first to think about it...that guidelines are summarily put in place after a nanosecond's thought.
It's like this.
There are rules for posting here and there are guidelines for playing the game in an LLM style.
Those rules and guidelines have been 9 years in the making, 9 years in the proving, and where changes in the game make a guideline redundant (like the current one making SWYCT and SYB obsolete and the Job Centre now working) then they're changed.
Bottom line. There are rules and guidelines. The rules are set in stone, the guidelines are dynamic. They are pretty much how every real LLaMa play the game...if you don't like them, can't play them, use a dodgy self-styled method of playing, then don't post here!!!
You won't change anything, you'll end up swearing, abusing and eliciting response, and the unwarranted reputation of LLM will be added to.
