I finished 2nd in League One in my third season so managed to get automatic promotion but I have no idea how to build on it.

Finances are terrible. £541k in the red with no income as far as I can see. Our training and youth facilities are untouched and the ground holds less than 3000 seated.

Where do I go? Any tips on lasting in the Championship long enough to sort the club out?

Also, when should I start to worry about the finances to a point where I should firesell? I don't want to risk a pts deduction that's certain.

FFS where do I go in terms of building the clubs facilities and financial power. This isn't specific to Hereford, so it's not a team guide and I obviously have an idea of what players I need if I managed to get there. There are some right snotty types round here.

Bill bloke - before getting all in a tiff about your save, best have a look where you are. LLM isn't about hints and tips - we're more of a support group.

All I will say is, the game is called Football Manager. That means your only concern is the 11 blokes (12 if the ref is blind as a bat) on the pitch. Fincances and rebuilding club facilities isn't your concern. You reckon Wenger had a say in the new stadium? No, neither do I.

You look after the squad and buy who you need. That's your job. Let the Board look after the finances and the stadium. That's their job.

Point is, this is the wrong place to look for tips - we don't do tips.

And most of us couldn't care less about the finances - if the board are happy with 500k in the red, that's their problem, not mine. As long as they continue to pay the wages, and the budget is reasonable enough to keep the right players, that's all I care about

Learn to read will you bill. We don't do tips, as it says in the header and we certainly don't take much notice of what heathen fora posters say when they post in LLM whilst continuing to do so in aforementioned places.

I think we need to have the header also say "This is not a place to discuss issues with the game just because you manage a team that you consider to be lower league." That's all we seem to get in here now.
