update on the update: I had a job offer from Harrow. They offered me 1200 € p/w. They are also still in conference south, have no players, a wage budget of 3400€ p/w, are predicted dead last and -10k in the bank. They must really have wanted me

I accepted the offer, but now I feel a stab of regret. Anyway, on to the next challenge! Keeping Harrow up.

Small update: after trying to sign 33-35 year olds that haven't played since 10 years or more all pre season, and being rejected time and time again I started signing the lowest of the lowest, and even the computer agrees with me. in a scout report of a striker I literally found under 'weaknesses':

"scout believes striker to have long since given up all hope of ever beating a player using his non-existent skill"

Needless to say I offered him a contract.

Season 2012/2013 English Conference South

I didn't have a squad, so I brought in everything I could. Due to lame scouts I only got a full squad after playing the third competition match. We lost most of our matches in the first ten games, but I was ok with that and gave the team some time to gel together. The team didn't gel together and we were dead last with 10 games to go. We got half out points total in those last eight games, and everything was still possible when we went 19th on goal difference and the second last match against 20th rivals Eastleigh. A player of mine thought he needed to rally the troops after a six match unbeaten run and we subsequently lost 5-1. We won the last game, but so did Eastleigh (undeserved!) and we got relegated.

During the season my sqaud thinned out due to injuries and players being fired due to being carp. However, I was still over the ridicilously low wage budget and the board wouldn't let me get new players.

We were 400k in the red, mainly due to me being paid €1.2k per week.

And just to re-emphasize on leaving Kriens as the wrong move, MY SAVEGAME WENT CORRUPT!

I'll have to abandon this update, but I've got a savegame with burscough that I stopped playing, so you can expect a new update soon!
