Season 2014

Board: Respectable league position
Media: 5th

We started inconsistent. 2 losses and 3 wins in five played gave a tip that this season might be tougher than predicted. I couldn't be more wrong. We suddenly picked up our form, starting banging goals from all over the place and when mid season came, we were sitting 1st.
Mid-season transfer window see us clear some dead wood + our captain DM and best DR, who were reluctant to sign new contract. We bagged in a decent sum of dough and brought in 4 players to cover our losses. Two of those are now first teamers.

After the mid-season break, we started poorly dropping to second spot, but then again picked up our spirits and never left first spot till the end.
Champions and promotion \o/ with 28 wins, 8 draws and 6 defeats (out of 42 played) and gd +39.

Fans are delighted, I was picked manager of the month and my best DC got an invite to Russian national team at age of 28 :eek:

For next season, youth and training facilities will be improved. Also, we need to get some reinforcements for DL, DC, AMC and ST positions.

Season 2014

Board: Fight bravely against relegation

Before the season we managed to lure a young Russian GK and a DC to replace our international player after he left for Kuban. thus, i never expected a good season. Mostly, I agreed with what board said and not nearly with what media predicted.

We started ok. Two home wins and two away defeats and the went on non losing streak till 10th (out of 30) round, when we actually sat at 3rd spot. Then injuries and reality kicked in and we fell to 8th till mid-season. We managed to keep this place till the end of the season.
Surprise was young 20yo ML, who was promoted form reserves and played excellent.

Board decided to upgrade training and youth facilities. Training are now good and youth are average, but board is reluctant to invest more, since they appear to be amongst the best in the country.
Unfortunately, our board are a bunch of tight arse cretens. They limited wages for scouts to 55 EUR per week and I couldn't renew any of old scouts contracts. To worsen the situation, wage bug kicked in as well, so I couldn't sign scouts that requested 45 EUR per week, because they thought it was not acceptable. The same applies for amount of 55 EUR per week. Thus, I am without a single scout and unable to locate decent players. No reinforcements before pre-season probably mean we will get relegated.
If socuts wages don't go up, I will resign at the official end of this season.

Season 2016

Board: Safe mid-table position
Media: 8th (last)

Seeing what the board and fans expected of me and that tight-arse board still didn't want to allow normal wages for a scout, I had full of everything. Being after 3 matches without a win and 1 point in 14th spot, I really had enough of this ****. Thus, I resigned.

a month didn't pass bye, when I got a job at Marsonia in Croatian 2nd division (1. HNL). I was promised 5M EUR transfer budget :eek:

When I joined, Marsonia was sitting 13th 12 rounds till the end of the season. We went on good run, but couldn't manage to get further up than 7th. Then injury crisis kicked in and since previous Marsonia manager rather stored money than spend it, I was left with small squad and had to promote some u19s to seniors just so that I could play.
The form was so-so and we finished 8th. Board and fans pleased of course.

New player for every position will come in summer transfer window, so I expect better season next year.
