Default International parent club ok?

I know that, in Real-Life England, getting a parent/child club is prohibited. Is this also true for non-English agreements? In my current save, Celtic are a parent club to Stoke, and loan players. Is that realistic?

Also, Stoke has a relationship with a Belgian club to loan players for "work permit" reasons. Would it be realistic for non-work permit players to be loaned out, or is this kind of relationship for strictly work-permit-avoidance?

Are Celtic ll now?

You'd be best posting this in GQ to be honest

Stoke is an English club - therefore, they shouldn't be the child for any club regardless of country.

Not too sure about the parent relationship though - quite a few English clubs are the "parents" of foreign clubs, or have "parenting"-type relationships with foreign clubs - GQ may be the best place to answer this one.

Thanks - I was wondering why people kept directing me to GQ, then I realized it was b/c of managing in the Championship.

For some context: this is a save I'm trying to play under LLaMa rules - it's 2013 and I've moved on to Stoke, hence my question in this forum.

I don't think you're being directed to GQ solely because you're managing in the Championship, more because we don't actually know

All we do know is that because parent/feeder relationships aren't allowed in real life, we don't use them in LLM games - the rest is a mystery.....

The dead guy is right, an English club can never be a feeder.

Manchester United have Antwerp as a feeder and they sent them their English youngsters as well as that Chinese guy, so I don't think that you need to restrict yourself in that regard.

I am managing in Serie C2 in Italy and in that league, every club has a parent club. Everyone but me, that is. The club at no 1 now has 17 players on loan with some high stats (dual numbers) Serie A kids in the squad.

If the English club is the PARENT in the relationship, and not the feeder club, then it is fine. What part of that did you misunderstand the first two times it was mentioned?
